Michigan Youth Black Bear Hunt- Bear Dog Mark is offering a youth Bear hunt in northern Michigan (Lake City) with his fabulous hounds. This hunt will be in the fall of 2024 for a YOUTH hunter. Bear Dog Mark will transfer points to the youth hunter. Hunt to take place with Mark on the first Friday and Saturday of the season. Most likely mid-September 2024. The date is to be determined by the State of Michigan. The chance of a successful hunt is very high. Last season a 496-pound boar was taken by Mark and his crew. Mark’s crew will be on hand for follow-up shots to protect the dogs. The area Mark Bear hunts takes 9 bear points to draw.

This is a wonderful opportunity to take a son or daughter out for the time of their life. This hunt is 100 percent donated. Please remember that we will do all we can to accommodate the winner of this hunt. We might have issues beyond our control. For example private land with no permission or untraversable swamp lands. WMBH will do all it can to help to facilitate this hunt. Keep in mind that the points needed can change from year to year. The accommodations will be at Scott Overwegs cabin just a few miles from the hunting area. A Parent or Guardian must accompany the youth hunter. The hunt is for one hunter and one Parent or Guardian. Must be a Michigan Resident for the Bear Point transfer.
